Introducing Galactic Lilac!
News in from 2021 Royal Queensland Show (Ekka)
It's so exciting as my entry into the category of Millinery Masterclass was chosen 3rd Prize at the 2021 Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) with the results just announced.
Galactic Lilac is a classy tower of hand dyed lilac parisisal straw. It has been shaped into a freeform sculptural design and the construction manipulated to show and create a fluid but classic and stylish look. The trim highlights show variegated knotted biot feathers with satin covered curled and twisted quills to add height.
Galactic Lilac is on sale now on my website for one lucky buyer to own an award winning hat!
Unfortunately the Ekka has been cancelled this year again, due to Covid but I thought my entry was well worth sharing with you all.
